Hi! I'm Alana
I proudly work Community Outreach for the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery. A recent graduate for Yale’s School of Management Executive Women’s Leadership Program, I hold an M.A. in American Dance Studies and a B.A. in Hospitality Management and Tourism from Florida State University.
A long-time arts advocate, I currently serve on my city's public art committee, teach dance, volunteer with several art based organizations, and founded the service initiative TAP: Turn up Artistic Participation.
As a former participant in the Miss America Organization, I'm grateful for the scholarships gained and communication skills harnessed and enjoy giving back through mentorship. I invite you to follow my social media to stay connected. Typically on a plane, at a fire station, or in a dance studio, I'm always on the go.
TAP with me!
